Drinking from the Well: A Global Health and Justice Resource for Youth Workers 2006
Drinking from the Well explores the link between poverty, injustice and health around the world. It takes a broad view of health - from physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well-being to sexual, environmental and social health.
Through a range of activities, young people reflect on their own attitudes to health, consider different dimensions of health and well-being and examine issues such as poverty, access to education, healthcare, family and social networks which impact on the health of people and society at a local and global level. The resource also includes 10 A4 colour photos depicting scenes relating to health and well-being around the world.
